Concertmaster

Principal Associate Concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Has led hundreds of performances at the Metropolitan, including many as concertmaster in the MET's popular “Live in HD” transmissions, such as Carmen, Turandot, Faust, Salome and Madama Butterfly. Previously a member of the Chicago Symphony, she appeared with that orchestra as concerto soloist with Sir Georg Solti. Studied with Raphael Bronstein and Burton Kaplan at Manhattan School of Music, where she was the Nathan Milstein Scholarship recipient. Performed in the Marlboro, Ravinia, and Tanglewood festivals, in festivals in Norway and Greece, and on the Met Chamber Ensemble series at Carnegie Hall with James Levine and colleagues. Concertmaster and soloist at Lake Tahoe SummerFest, 2012. Has served as guest concertmaster for the Seattle Symphony, the American Symphony Orchestra, WNO, and Adelaide Symphony in Australia. She was featured in Musical America as a “Young Artist of the Year” and received numerous awards and competition prizes.
