Season Launch 2018
Outrageously inventive Australian director Barrie Kosky’s Covent Garden hit production of Shostakovich’s The Nose is set to be the highlight of Opera Australia’s 2018 season.
Launching the Sydney 2018 program at the Opera House on Tuesday 22 August, Opera Australia gave Sydneysiders a sneak peak of what is set to be the kookiest hit of the summer.
Shostakovich’s surreal and brilliant opera has never been performed here in Australia so this production by our own Barrie Kosky is set to attract a lot of attention, not least because of it’s crazy costumes and zany storyline.
