  1. Promotion: Complete and submit the form on the Opera Australia website (https://opera.org.au) with an eligible promotion code to go into the draw for a chance to win two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder. There will be eleven (11) competitions taking place on the following dates:
    1. One (1) draw on 17 October for the competition entrants who used the promotion code from the Sydney Theatre Company e-newsletter. The first name drawn will win a prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on Friday 28 October.
    2. One (1) draw on 17 October for the competition entrants who used the promotion code from the Queer Screen e-newsletter. The first name drawn will win a prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on Friday 28 October.
    3. One (1) draw on 17 October for the competition entrants who used the promotion code from the Palace Cinemas e-newsletter. The first name drawn will win a prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on Friday 28 October.
    4. One (1) draw on 17 October for the competition entrants who used the promotion code from the Fine Fish e-newsletter. The first name drawn will win a prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on Friday 28 October.

    11. One (1) draw on 17 October for the competition entrants who used the promotion code from the ACO e-newsletter. The first name drawn will win a prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on Friday 28 October.

  2. Promotion codes: The eligible promotion codes are published in the e-newsletters listed above sent by partnering organisations from the period 14 September 2016 to 14 October 2016.
  3. The prize value for two (2) A-reserve tickets to an Opera Australia performance is $290. The prizes are not transferable, divisible or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value. The total prize value will not exceed $100,000.
  4. The Promoter is Opera Australia (ABN 26 000 755 153) of The Opera Centre, 480 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2012.
  5. Promotion period: The Promotion will commence at 12:01am on 13 September 2016 and will close at 11:55pm on 14 October 2016.
  6. Eligibility: Entry is open to individuals, aged 18 years or over, who live in Australia and have successfully completed and submitted the Opera Australia survey form during the promotional period.
  7. Only one entry per person for each unique promotion code will be accepted.
  8. The competition is not open to employees of Opera Australia, their families (including de facto spouses) or to other persons assisting with the competition.
  9. By entering this competition and using the promotion code, the entrant agrees to receive emails from Opera Australia in regards to this competition. The competition entrant may unsubscribe at any time. 
  10. Draws: eleven (11) competition draws will be conducted at the head office of the Promoter, located at 480 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2012 as follows:
    1. The first competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Sydney Theatre Company e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.
    2. The second competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Queer Screen e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

    3. The third competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Palace Cinemas e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

    4. The fourth competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Fine Fish e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system.     5. The fifth competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Musica Viva e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

    6. The sixth competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Art Gallery of New South Wales e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

    7. The seventh competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Belvoir St Theatre e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system.     8. The eighth competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016.     9. The ninth competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the City Recital Hall e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

    10. The tenth competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the Schools Spectacular e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

    11. The eleventh competition will be drawn on 17 October 2016. The names of all the entrants who completed and submitted the competition form before 11.55pm on 14 October 2016 with an eligible promotion code printed in the ACO e-newsletter will go into an electronic drawing system. The first name drawn will win the prize, being two (2) A-reserve tickets to The Eighth Wonder playing on 28 October 2016.

  11. The winners will be notified via email and the names of the winners will be published on the Opera Australia website, on this webpage, on the date of the draws.
  12. Incomplete and incomprehensible entries and entries with defamatory or offensive content or incorrect contact details are not eligible to win. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for misdirected, lost or delayed entries and entries not received for any reason during the promotion period, or for any technical difficulties with entry.
  13. Any entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry process in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.
  14. All prizes must be taken as stated. The judge's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury which results directly or indirectly from the competition, except that which cannot be excluded by law.
  16. In the event of the prize remaining unclaimed for seven days, the winners will be redrawn.
  17. Opera Australia is authorised under NSW Permit No. LTPM/15/01062 to conduct this competition.
