Born, China. Studied at Shanghai Conservatorium of Music, China and Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Australia, obtained BA (Music), Grad Dip. Mus. (Perf.). From 1982-1993, taught singing at Faculty of Music, Hebei Teachers' University in China, During 1994-996, won Second Prize and Highly Commended Prize at McDonald's Open Singing Competitions for Mezzo-soprano. Joined Opera Australia in 1997.

OA repertoire

Nutrice in L'incoronazione di Poppea, Abbess/Lay sister in Suor Angelica, Spirit in Dido and Aeneas. As a member of the chorus has sung in more than 50 operas.
