Rowena Wallace

Rowena's performance in the controversial television production You Can’t See Round Corners playing opposite Ken Shorter, first brought her to the attention of national audiences. Rowena then became a household name and won five TV Week Logie Awards including the coveted Gold Logie for her unforgettable role of Pat Hamilton (“Pat the Rat”) in the television series Sons & Daughters.

Rowena started her career in Brisbane theatre then moved to Sydney after accepting a contract with the Seven Network. She soon became one of Australia's television favourites, starring in such shows as Number 96, Cop Shop, Prisoner and the international hits Home & Away and Neighbours. She won a Penguin Award for her performance in the television series The Rovers. Rowena was the subject of the high rating Channel Nine television program This Is Your Life, and in 2012, starred as Melbourne gangland matriarch Judy Moran in the Foxtel series Deadly Women. In her extensive film career, Rowena appeared in many feature films including Puberty Blues, Blackwater Trail, Relatives, The Dark Room, Squeeze A Flower, Squeeze A Grape and Backstage.

Rowena's theatre credits include such memorable shows as Blithe Spirit, Double Act, Lend Me A Tenor and A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking for GFO.
