Thern Reynolds

Thern has had an extensive and varied career in musical theatre. He was cast in his first professional show in 1989 while still in high school – the original Australian production of 42nd Street – and has barely stopped working since. His career has taken him all over Australia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East and has seen him take on many challenges, as an ensemble member, an understudy, dance captain, swing, minor roles, major roles, resident director/choreographer and director.

Thern's theatre credits include West Side Story, Easter Parade, Red Hot & Rhonda, My Fair Lady, Wing in Hot Shoe Shuffle, Happy Days the Arena Spectacular (Dance Captain), Miss Saigon (Dance Captain), Chess, The Boy from Oz, Rent (Dance Captain), Tulsa in Gypsy, Chicago (Dance Captain), Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Play The Game, Lewis in Pippin, Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street (Green Room Award nomination), Flinders St (Director), The Mayor/Paul Gill in Rock of Ages (Dance Captain), An Officer and a Gentleman (Dance Captain), Mary Poppins, South Pacific, The Cherries Man in Fosse, Tonight’s The Night, Mind The Gap, Moulin Rouge (film), De-Lovely (film) and The Rocky Horror Show (Resident Director/ Choreographer).

Thern’s most recent credits include Dream Lover – The Bobby Darin Musical, Brit in We Will Rock You, the Resident Director for Cabaret, and The Production Company's Jesus Christ Superstar. Thern is delighted to be appearing in Evita.
