  • 2020 subscribers who choose a set package will have the opportunity to renew their seats in 2021
  • secure the best seats before they go on sale to the general public

Existing subscribers who want to renew their subscription in 2020 can book packages from Thursday 8 August. New subscription packages and single tickets will be on sale from Thursday 15 August.

Can I choose my own seats when subscribing?
Yes, you can choose your own seats online. Or visit the Opera Australia Box Office at 480 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills to book in person.

Can I book additional tickets to productions?
Yes. Subscribers can book as many additional tickets for friends as they wish, at the same time as you book your subscription package. These tickets will be at the full price.

Why are subscriptions handled by Opera Australia?
Opera Australia and Pinchgut Opera are good friends, and Opera Australia's systems and infrastructure support the subscription features that Pinchgut Opera subscribers and fans have been requesting.

Is Pinchgut Opera part of Opera Australia?
No. Pinchgut Opera is entirely, proudly, and fiercely independent.

How do I donate to Pinchgut Opera?

I'm an Opera Australia subscriber. Can I add tickets to Pinchgut Opera to my Opera Australia subscription?
Yes. Once you've created an Opera Australia subscription package (with three or more Opera Australia productions), you can add tickets to Pinchgut Opera. Opera Australia subscription packages will be available from 22 August 2019.
