Bianca Hopkins

Bianca (she/her) was born in Townsville, Australia and trained at the New Zealand School of Dance. She has built an international career as a dance artist. Her work includes engagements with ballet and contemporary companies such as The Royal New Zealand Ballet, and she has performed and toured extensively with opera companies including The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Glyndebourne, Grange Park Opera, and Welsh National Opera. Musical theatre highlights include On the Town (Bunka Kaikan, Tokyo), Fiddler on the Roof (BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall) and The Mikado (London Coliseum). Her wider performance work includes immersive and large-scale events such as Esmeralda’s Night Circus (Glastonbury), Cirque Du Lumière (South Korea and South America), appearances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and performances for Cartier in Paris and London and Van Cleef & Arpels at Buckingham Palace. Most recently, Bianca played Cinderella in Hansel and Gretel at the Royal Opera House, London.
