Daniel Tambasco

Daniel Tambasco is an Italian–Australian tenor based in Sydney, known for fusing classical vocal artistry with contemporary and nostalgic styles. He began vocal training at 14 under the guidance of Claire Poole before completing both the Advanced Diploma of Opera and the Master of Music (Opera Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (The University of Sydney).

Daniel’s versatile career spans multiple productions with the Opera Australia Chorus, the Australian Club Entertainment circuit, and performances across Australia and overseas. He holds a deep passion for crossover work, reimagining music theatre, opera, classic rock, and pop favourites with a fresh, modern flair.

In 2017 he won an ACE Award, followed by consistent nominations for Best Male Voice from 2018 to 2025. He has also released three independent albums and continues to push creative boundaries, guided by his personal motto: “The sky is not our limit — we can go far beyond it.”
