David Spencer

Over his professional career, David has been involved in all facets of the performing arts, but more recently as a performer and director. As an Assistant and Resident Director, David has worked on productions including Into the Woods (Vic Opera), Anything Goes (Gordon Frost Organisation, Opera Australia), Funny Girl, Jesus Christ Superstar (The Production Company) and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Michael Cassel Group). He was resident director for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Michael Cassel Group), 2.22 A Ghost Story (GWB Entertainment) and A Christmas Carol (GWB Entertainment). He has performed in numerous musicals including Fiddler on the Roof, Eureka, Mame, The Pajama Game, The Producers, Pippin, Flowerchildren, Mary Poppins and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (understudy to Tony Sheldon). He has also worked in the UK where he performed in Chicago, Copacabana, Carousel and Lust. More recently David appeared in the Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
