Dimitri Raptis

Dimitri has been dancing since the age of 4 and was born and raised in Melbourne. Following his childhood training, he undertook a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) at Transit Dance in Brunswick Victoria. Amid his second year of full time training, Dimitri secured his first role in Saturday Night Fever The Musical onboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas. In years to follow he continued his career with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, specialising in ballroom and musical theatre styles along with fundamental aerial techniques. Dimitri’s most recent professional contracts involved both contemporary and commercial styles where he was also offered the role of Dance Captain. Other credits include Hong Kong Disney, Ocean Park, L’Oréal, Mushroom Group and the Challenge Foundation. After 5 years abroad, Dimitri is thrilled to be making his Australian musical theatre debut and would like to thank his family, friends and mentors for their ongoing support.
