Jayme Jo Massoud

Jayme Jo is a versatile Australian performer whose work spans major stage, musical theatre productions and screen. Most recently, she appeared in the Australian tour of The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale, bringing J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic fantasy world to life and The Pajama Game at the Foundry Theatre.

Jayme has performed in some of Australia’s most celebrated musical theatre productions, including Michael Cassel Group’s Hamilton, where she appeared as Bullet/Ensemble, and Cameron Mackintosh’s Nice Work If You Can Get It, understudying the role of Eileen while performing in the ensemble. She also featured in LWA’s Billy Elliot, further showcasing her strength as a dynamic ensemble performer.

Her operatic and large-scale theatrical work includes the role of Francesca in West Side Story with Opera Australia, performed on Sydney Harbour. On screen, Jayme appeared as a featured actor in the SBS television series The Ropes, expanding her practice into dramatic screen performance.

With a strong foundation in musical theatre, screen acting, and ensemble-led storytelling, Jayme Jo continues to build a body of work defined by physicality, emotional precision, and a commitment to bold, collaborative performance.
