Jessica Blunt

Jessica is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, London and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

She was a 2024/2025 Wesfarmers Arts Young Artist with West Australian Opera (WAO) and sings Violetta in their 2026 season of La traviata. Jessica makes her début with Opera Australia later this year – details of which to be announced shortly.

She has sung with English National Opera, Opera Australia and coached at the Vienna State Opera. In 2022, she participated in the Stimme, Leib und Seele program in Salzburg and returned to Austria in 2025 for role study supported by WAO.

Jessica has appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall New York, Sydney Town Hall and Perth Concert Hall – as well as having sung principal roles with the Mediterranean Opera Studio and the Manhattan Opera Studio.

In 2025, she performed Lucy (The Telephone) as part of WAO’s Secret Opera Series and was soprano soloist for Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra.

Also in 2025, Jessica sang Adele in Die Fledermaus with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and Leonora – at short notice – for the closing night of WAO’s season of Il trovatore. Both productions were conducted by Asher Fisch.
