Melody Beck

Melody Beck is a Sydney-based performer, writer and creative acclaimed for her versatility across music theatre, cabaret and vocal storytelling. A graduate of UNSW with degrees in Music (Vocal Performance) and Theatre Studies, she trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and holds Associate and Licentiate Diplomas in Classical and Contemporary Voice from AMEB, Trinity College London and Rockschool London. Melody has participated in masterclasses with Adam Guettel, Hayden Tee and the late Marni Nixon. Her stage credits include An Ordinary Town (formerly Stalker: The Musical) in the Australian and International premieres (Candy/Victoria and Female Player), Barnum (Jenny Lind) and Believe: The Christmas Musical (Mrs Claus). She won the Your Theatrics International Cabaret Contest with her acclaimed solo show Unseen: The Voice of Hollywood, a tribute to Marni Nixon, and co-created the award-winning cabaret The Sinsational Rita & Mae. Melody is delighted to appear as Ensemble and Confidante in Opera Australia’s 2026 Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour production of The Phantom of the Opera.
