Michaela Hodgson

Michaela holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours in vocal performance from the Royal College of Music, London. Recent performances include Sweeney Todd with Victorian Opera, Amadeus with Red Line Productions, and Enda Markey’s Do You Hear The People Sing.

Michaela performed in Opera Australia’s The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour in 2022, following the UK and Ireland Tour production of The Phantom of the Opera in 2020. Michaela was also the understudy for the role of Giulietta in Aspects of Love at the Hayes Theatre in 2019. Other roles include Calisto in Offenbach’s Daphnis and Chloe with Pacific Opera, Orlenda in Charody Productions’ circus opera The Carnival, and Rose Pickles in the creative development of Cloudstreet: the opera.

As a member of The 7 Sopranos, Michaela sang on their debut, self-titled album with ABC Classics. She is currently performing as the featured soprano in the Australian tour of Joey Fimmano’s Music of the Night.
