Stephanie Arnold

Cello and Childrens Chorus Master Cellist, Stephanie Arnold, freelancers as an orchestral and chamber musician and teaching artist. She is engaged in a wide range of genre-traversing musical and recording projects and tours regularly with Opera Australia. Stephanie is currently Principal Cello of the Darwin Symphony Orchestra, as well as their Education and Outreach Coordinator. Stephanie also tours regularly with celebrated Mudburra and Garrawa singer Eleanor Jawurlngali and guitarist Mick Turner, together they have performed at Mona Foma, Panama, and WOMADelaide and supported artists including the Dirty Three, Kim Gordon and Dan Sultan. Stephanie’s broad range of musical projects has allowed her to perform across Australia as well as internationally; in concert halls, in the studio, on festival stages and as part of residency programs, art installations and conferences. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Honours) from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, a Master of Music Performance from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and a Master of Music from the Musikhochschule Lübeck.
