Tutti Horn

Victoria Chatterley

Victoria Chatterley holds the position of Tutti Horn in the Opera Australia Orchestra, first joining the Orchestra in 1994. Victoria started her musical studies at the age of twelve, and under the tutelage of Darryl Poulsen went on to complete a Bachelor of Music Performance at Western Australia Conservatorium of Music. Over the course of her career Victoria has won a number of awards including  the Western Australia Sands Exchange Fellowship, The Western Australia Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition and The John and Margaret Winstanley Award for the most outstanding classical music student. In recent years Victoria has played in The Opera Australia Brass Quintet and The Opera Australia Wind Quintet.

Fun fact: Victoria's first big break was playing a season of Pirates of Penzance in His Majesty's Theatre, Perth, WA while she was supposed to be studying for my trial Year 12 exams.
