Emma Kingsbury

Emma Kingsbury trained at Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Her credits include Atlanta Ballet’s Camino Real (2017), Pennsylvania Ballet’s Tilt (2017), Tulsa Ballet’s Meoal:Among (2017), Oregon Ballet’s Terra (2017), Smuin Ballet’s Oasis (2016), Pinchgut Opera’s Der Rauchfangkehrer (2014), Sydney Chamber Opera’s Ich Habe Genug, L.A Philharmonic’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2017).

Emma was resident costume designer for Ken Unsworth and the Australian Dance Artists (2012-2016). Other major works include Andy X: The Movie, directed by Jim Sharman, Atomic: The Musical Sydney and New York productions The African Ladies Troupe touring Australia and U.K.

Emma’s film credits include The Wolverine (2013), God’s Of Egypt (2016), Truth (2015), Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon and NBC/Universal’s Childhood’s End (2016). Emma’s most recent film work includes the mini-series Top of the Lake: China Girl (2017) and Legendary Entertainment’s Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018). Emma is currently designing and illustrating in Los Angeles and is designing for Opera Australia and Charlotte Ballet in 2019.
