Karli Dinardo
Karli is absolutely thrilled to be making her Australian Debut with this incredible production of West Side Story.
Born in Melbourne, now New York City based, Karli comes directly from the 1st National Tour of Broadway’s HAMILTON: An American Musical where she was the original Dance Captain, Swing, Understudy Peggy Schuyler & Maria Reynolds for a life changing two years. Seeing her in distinguished theatres such as the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles and the infamous John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
Karli toured across America and Canada in Flashdance the Musical as the lead Alex Owens. She made her Off Broadway debut with the World Premier of Revolution … at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Other credits include, Phyllis Dale in 42nd Street, The Pajama Game, and The Music Man.
West Side Story is a show she holds close to her heart, having performed the role of Anita at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre where she won the Broadway World Award for best supporting actress, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and the John W. Engeman Theatre in New York. A highlight was being a part of West Side Story through the prestigious Carnegie Hall as Graziella that incorporated a local children’s choir of 200, a magical full 50 piece orchestra, and where she also worked with our incredible choreographer Julio Monge.
She has performed several times for Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids as a featured dancer and solo vocalist at their fundraising benefits Gypsy Of The Year at the Minsknoff Theatre and Broadway Backwards at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in NYC.
As a child Karli was seen in the Television Series Silversun on ABC, multiple episodes of Thank God You’re Here with Working Dog Productions, multiple short films such as Thorns which was selected at the Sao Paolo International Film Festival.
Karli is very grateful for her training at Patrick Studios Australia, and her college the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC.
