Liane Keegan

International artist, Liane Keegan is Australia born. She received scholarships from the Opera Foundation Australia, Shell Royal Covent Garden Scholarship, and a Bayreuth Bursary from the Wagner Society of Great Britain.
Liane’s extensive career has comprised leading roles in Australia and Europe. She has performed for VO Mary (The Flying Dutchman), for SOSA Erda, First Norn and Waltraute (Der Ring Des Nibelungen), Azucena (Il Trovatore), for OA Erda (Der Ring Des Nibelungen), Ulrica (Un ballo in Maschera), Azucena (Il Trovatore), for ENO First Norn (The Twilight of the Gods), for Theater Hagen Klytämnestra (Elektra), Mistress Quickly (Falstaff), and for Deutsche Oper Berlin Anna (Les Troyens), Emilia (Otello), Marcellina (Le Nozze Di Figaro) and Siegrune (Die Walküre). More recently Liane launched her critically acclaimed one woman show “Judy Australia 1964” based on Judy Garland, Herodius (Salome), The Old Lady/Dutchess (Sleeping Beauty) and for Melbourne Opera, Leocadia Begbick (The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny).
