Lucy Clarke-Randazzo

Lucy Clarke-Randazzo started learning the violin at 4 years of age at the Orange Regional Conservatorium of Music. Lucy’s love of music led her to Sydney in 2019 to study a Bachelor of Music (Performance) on violin at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Janet Davies. Lucy graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in December 2022, and has continued her studies at the Sydney Conservatorium where she is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Music Studies and is grateful to be the recipient of the Belinda Frances Hughes Violin Scholarship from the University of Sydney.

Lucy has been fortunate to perform across cities in Europe and the UK with the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Symphony Orchestra, and has toured Australia with the Australian Youth Orchestra, performing in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. Lucy has also benefitted from masterclasses with violinist and conductor Ola Rudner, Karl Heinrich Niebuhr (Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra) Charlie Siem, and Dale Barltrop with the Australian String Quartet. She has worked with eminent conductors including Sir Mark Elder, Tzelaw Chan, Matthew Coorey, Eivind Aadland and Umberto Clerici.

Lucy also had the chance in 2021 to perform in an opera orchestra collaborative program with NIDA, where she thoroughly enjoyed the program and the wonderful collaborative experience of performing with other creative artists. Lucy is excited to play opera and ballet repertoire and is really looking forward to the year ahead.
