Nathan Stafford

Nathan began performing arts training in Adelaide at age 9 through TIDC and Adelaide Youth Theatre. Early theatre roles include Toby in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (TML Enterprises), Friedrich Von Trapp in The Sound of Music (GFO) and Young Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake (The Australian Ballet). After graduating school as College Dux, he received the Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). VCA credits include Little Women, Heathers, Marry Me a Little and Detective Frank Cioffi in Curtains. Nathan appeared in Opera Australia’s Sunset Boulevard during his final year and, upon graduating, joined the cast of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast also understudying the roles of Lumiere, Cogsworth and Maurice.
