Noah Oshiro

Noah Oshiro began playing the cello when he was 3 years old. He is currently completing his final year of his Bachelor of Music in Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Julian Smiles.

During his studies at the Sydney Conservatorium, Noah has been fortunate enough to be a recipient of the Henderson Traveller’s Scholarship and Westheimer String Quartet Fellowship Program which has enabled him to study chamber music abroad and receive string quartet training from renowned musicians of Emerson, Hagen, Artemis and Goldner Quartets. Noah has most recently performed at the Sydney Festival, Sydney International Jazz Festival, Orange Festival and has also been touring with Daniel Rojas and Ensemble Apex String Quartet for Musica Viva.

In 2022, Noah performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as part of the fellowship program and now looks forward to joining the Opera Australia Orchestra for 2023.
