Peter Ho

Peter is a Chinese Australian performer and 2022 WAAPA graduate, completing his Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. He made his professional stage debut in the ensemble of Moulin Rouge! The Musical (Global Creatures), where he also covered and performed as Toulouse-Lautrec. Most recently, he appeared in the Australasian tour of Sunset Boulevard (Opera Australia/GWB Entertainment) as ensemble and understudy Artie Green.

During his training, Peter’s notable WAAPA credits included Jake in Side Show, Mr Baumann/Mack Understudy in Mack & Mabel and Max & Vocal Captain in The Pajama Game. He was awarded WAAPA’s Finley Award in 2021 and 2022 for ‘embodying a true spirit of ensemble’ and for ‘the student who staff feel has taken the most advantage of the course’.

Proud of his Peranakan & Eurasian heritage, Peter is a passionate advocate for celebrating authentic representation and championing the stories that make our stages brighter. He is endlessly grateful for the unwavering love and support of his family, friends, and creative community, as he continues to build a dynamic career across theatre and screen.
