Sam Ward
A VCA graduate, Sam Ward played Henri Baurel in the original Australian production of An American in Paris, earning a Sydney Theatre Award nomination. He made his professional debut in 2017 in Jesus Christ Superstar and received the Playbill Future Prospect Award at the Rob Guest Endowment. In 2023/2024 Sam was a member of the international company of Miss Saigon, understudying and performing the role of Chris across Australia, Taiwan, Singapore and The Philippines. Most recently he played the roles of Paul Owen/Detective Kimball in the Melbourne premiere of American Psycho and appeared in the ABC series Dog Park, in the role of Walter.
Other credits include Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Titanic; Falsettos; The Beautiful Game; Les Misèrables; 42nd Street; They’re Playing our Song and A Very Naughty Christmas. Sam has been a member of platinum-selling group The Ten Tenors since 2019, touring to every continent except Antarctica. Sam is proudly represented by Ian White Management.
