Totie Driver
Totie has spent the last 25 years working on numerous stage designs for the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Donmar Warehouse, Theatre de Complicite, Glynedebourne, and London’s West End. She is a Senior Lecturer on the Design for Theatre and Live Performance course at Nottingham Trent University. She was nominated for the VC’s award for excellence in Professional Practice. Totie works to Theatre Green Book principles, to educate and promote sustainability in theatre making.
For Cameron Mackintosh Totie created stage designs for a UK tour of Oliver!, after productions in Ghent and Antwerp. Totie also created stage designs for a UK touring production of Miss Saigon in 2002 and has since toured Korea, Australia, Japan, Brazil and Utrecht in the Netherlands. For the 2014 return to the West End she collaborated with Matt Kinley Winning 2015 ‘What’s on Stage’ Best Set Design. In 2018 Matt and Totie launched Miss Saigon at the Broadway Theatre New York subsequently turning into a US tour, plus a production in Vienna during the pandemic.
