Jessica Westcott

Soprano

Hailing from Parkes, NSW, Jessica studied her Masters of Music (Opera Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she also completed a Bachelor of Music with Honours.

Performance credits include: Meg in Little Women (Sydney Conservatorium Opera Studio), Mme Silberklang in Der Schauspieldirektor (Sydney Conservatorium Opera Studio), Musetta in La Boheme (Opera New England), Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring (ANU Opera).

Masterclass credits include: Barbara Bonney, Yvonne Kenney, Catherine Cook, Claudia Visca. Jessica also founded the Rising Stars tour group that toured NSW/ACT in 2014.

She was the 2014/15 recipient of the prestigious UK/Australia BBM Youth Support Award, which allowed her to tour the UK and New York taking masterclasses and lessons with some of the industry’s most prominent coaches and advisors.

Jessica is currently based in Sydney studying with Stephen Yalouris.
