Tom Hamilton

Baritone

Tom Hamilton is a versatile company member of the Chorus Ensemble and has sung with OA since 1998.

Prior to this he was Young Artist with VSO and a Chorister with LOQ after studying voice at Qld. Conservatorium.

Roles performed and understudied include Mozart’s Figaro, Leporello, Papageno; Puccini’s Marcello, Sharpless, Bonzo, Sacraistano, Sciarrone, Alcindoro; Donizetti’s Belcore; Verdi’s Baron Douphol, Marquis d’Obigny ,Germont pêre; G & S’s Henry Porter, PishTush, PoohBah and many supporting and character roles across the operatic and concert spectrum.

His work as a singing actor has been a large part of his enjoyment as a full time chorus artist and he continues to enjoy both chorus singing and solo performance, within the company and elsewhere.
