Opera for Students
A night at the opera your students will never forget at an affordable price.
Opera for Students is our program offering discounted tickets to secondary students. For selected performances, school groups may book for $59 per student, with one free ticket for a teacher per 10 students. We will let you know available dates when we return to the stage.
Student Rush
Are you a full-time student at an Australian institution? Bam! With appropriate ID, you can buy a $35 ticket from 9am on the day of selected performances. You can book on this website ($9.80 transaction fee applies) between 9am and noon, or until tickets are sold out. You will be required to show student ID along with your tickets at the performance.
If tickets are available, you’ll be offered the best available seats — that might mean the best in the house, or could mean restricted view.
$20 Tickets for Year 11 and 12 students
We're thrilled to offer Year 11 and 12 students and teachers the opportunity to attend selected opera performances at $20 a ticket, thanks to The Bourne Foundation.
