RENT Is Back: $25 Tickets, One Day Only!

Calling all RENT-heads! On Thursday 4 September, we’re releasing 500 tickets for $25 each for 600 minutes. 

To celebrate RENT’s upcoming season at Sydney Opera House (and its eternal anthem ‘Seasons of Love’), we’re offering you the chance to see the show that rocked Broadway for just $25. Five hundred tickets will be available to fans, in-person, at the Sydney Opera House box office, starting at 9am.

What you need to know 

RENT was the Broadway show that made rush and lottery tickets a cultural sensation, so we're taking things back with an in-person event! Tickets will be available from 9am until 7pm (that’s 600 minutes), or until the allocation is sold out, from the Opera House’s main Box Office on level 1. 

You can join the queue from 8am on the steps of the Opera House, and catch a short performance from the RENT cast just before the $25 tickets go on sale. 

Tickets are available to a range of performances across the season. They will only be sold in person and are limited to a maximum of two per person.

Tickets are $25 each. They are only available for purchase in person at the Sydney Opera House box office on Thursday 4 September from 9am to 7pm, or until the allocation is exhausted. The offer is available for select Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evening performances from 30 September to 19 October 2025, and is subject to availability. Seating and performance allocation is entirely at the discretion of the box office. This offer is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer and cannot be used on past purchases. Tickets booked at this price cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded.  Booking fees do not apply for this promotion.
