Recent and upcoming engagements include Alexander’s debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as Holländer in Der fliegende Holländer and Scarpia Tosca (the role he will also perform at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Chile, and Slovak National Theatre). Other engagements include Jochanaan in Salome (Opera Australia), Tomsky in Queen of Spades (Deutsche Oper am Rhein), Varlaam in Boris Godunov (Concertgebouw Amsterdam), Holländer in Der fliegende Holländer (Estonian National Opera, Tomsky Pikovaya Dama Chaliapine Festival in Kazan).
