Asmara Soekotjo

Born and bred in Melbourne, Asmara is an emerging artist in the industry. Asmara has trained at many schools across the country, choosing to study at Patrick School of the Arts (Performing Arts & Musical Theatre) to really perfect her artistry. However, she cut her studies short to pursue her first professional contract with Royal Caribbean International in Pixels aboard Ovation of the Seas. After returning to Melbourne, Asmara was cast in Legally Blonde the Musical as Pilar (dir. Michael Ralph – James Terry Collective). Following the pandemic, Asmara was then cast in The Wedding Singer: The Musical Comedy as Ensemble/Cover Angie and shortly after in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in the Ensemble. Other notable dance credits include Another You Film Clip by Adam Noviello, AFL 2022 Grand Final, ABC 90th TV Special 90% and the Keep on Smiling Toyota TVC., as well as acting credits in the Telstra brings 5G AR wayfinding to Marvel Stadium TVC.
