Catherine Jang

Catherine has recently completed her Bachelor of Performance from the Conservatorium of Sydney where she was awarded the Ted and Susan Meller Scholarship Award over the course of her studies.

Catherine has extensive experience in orchestral playing during her music career, serving as concertmaster and principal positions in the Sydney Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra as well as performing regularly with the Australian Youth Orchestra. Later in the year, she will be embarking on a tour with Momentum Ensemble from the Australian Youth Orchestra, directed by renowned violinist Jack Liebeck.

She is now currently studying her Master of Music degree with Professor Goetz Richter with whom she has been learning from since 2011.
