Daniela Cappiello

Born in Piano di Sorrento in 1990, she graduated with honours from the Conservatorio “G. Martucci” in Salerno and later specialized under Cinzia Forte in Ferrara.

Winner of several international competitions, including the Toti dal Monte, she made her debut as Lisa in La Sonnambula. Her career has since led her to major Italian and international stages, including the Arena di Verona, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and the Festival Verdi in Busseto.

Her repertoire includes roles such as Gilda, Musetta, Adina, Susanna, and the Queen of the Night.

Recent engagements include Carmen and Nabucco at the Arena di Verona; La Bohème in Macerata; Silvia Colasanti’s L’ultimo viaggio di Sinbad at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome; La Cenerentola at the Filarmonico in Verona; and L’Elisir d’amore and Rigoletto at the Teatro Regio in Turin; and Don Pasquale in Muscat.
