Freya List

Freya List is a versatile Choreographer, Movement Director & Educator whose work spans theatre, film, television, company works and the music industry. Freya has been recognised with Green Room Awards (Betty Pounder Award for Original Choreography) for ‘Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical’ (DVE), ‘Next To Normal’ (James Terry Productions) and ‘The Grinning Man’ (Salty Theatre). Other Green Room nominations are ‘Bright Star’ (Pursued By Bear) and ‘Candide’ (Vic Opera & Opera Australia at the Opera House)

Other credits include National tours of ‘Chess’ and ‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’ (StoreyBoard Entertainment), ‘Parade’ (Soundworks), and as a Movement Director for companies such as Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Clovelly Fox, Theatreworks and across multiple TVC’ & Arts Festivals. She works with local music artists on their tours, music videos and live performances.

Freya teaches widely across Australia & abroad, and has led CERES Global’s Dancing Through India Programs and worked on multiple musicals across VCA, WAAPA and NIDA.

The rehearsal room is her favourite place.
