Grant Piro

Grant Piro is one of Australia’s most versatile and respected character actors, with a career spanning more than four decades across theatre, film and television. Most recently he has appeared as Wadsworth in Cluedo, Rogers in And Then There Were None, Wiseman in Follies, and in acclaimed productions of A Christmas Carol and Death of a Salesman. Just some of his extensive stage credits include The Girl From the North Country, Hand to God, The Odd Couple, Hairspray, The Producers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The 39 Steps and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

On screen, Grant is known for roles in The Newsreader, Utopia, Jack Irish, Newton’s Law, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, The Librarians, Sea Change and the iconic ABC children’s program Couch Potato, which he hosted for six years. Some film credits include Escape from Pretoria, Predestination, The Mule, Darkness Falls, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles and Bad Boy Bubby. He is a two-time Green Room Award winner and has received Helpmann, AFI and AACTA Award nominations. Grant is proudly represented by Ian White Management.
