Holly Murray

Turning 10 as Anastasia opens in Brisbane, Holly considers her professional musical theatre debut a pretty spectacular birthday gift.

Holly has trained since age 2 at Conroy Dance Centre in everything from jazz and singing to acrobatics, along the way achieving Queensland’s highest ballet examination result, twice receiving Comdance’s Prestige Classical Scholarship, and recently auditioning for The Australian Ballet School.

For Holly, the people have always been the best part. She is endlessly supported by her CDC family, particularly treasured Tarcia Meadows, irreplaceable Anna Schultz and Rachelle Conroy, who gave her the confidence to audition for this role. Holly thanks her EHSS dance teachers, friends and family, especially big sister Ella, her favourite person on and off stage. Her brothers, however, have granted this young Grand Duchess very little royal treatment.
