John Reed

Born in Houston, Texas, John relocated to Melbourne in 2004 and graduated from the Ballarat Arts Academy in 2015 with a BA in Music Theatre. Upon graduating, John has appeared in Funny Girl (The Production Company), Merrily We Roll Along (Watch This!), Jesus Christ Superstar (The Production Company), and He Said She Said (Lion Heart Dance Company). John is an inaugural member of the Melbourne Shakespeare Company, having performed with them in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night and Romeo and Juliet, which he also choreographed. It is a dream come true for John to be playing Action in West Side Story.
