Keara Donohoe

Keara graduated with a Bachelor of Music Studies from The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, under Jane Edwards.

Keara has sung roles and ensemble with Opera Australia since 2010, and has been a proud member of Opera Australia’s permanent chorus since 2018.

For Pinchgut Opera Keara has performed in the chorus of Iphigénie en Tauride and Theodora, as well as soloist for Pinchgut Opera’s Women of The Pieta concert. She was also proud to feature in Pinchgut’s 2020 film A Delicate Fire.

Other roles include Meg Page (The Merry Wives of Windsor), Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), and Flora (La Traviata) with Sydney group Opera Bites.

In concert halls, Keara performs widely around Sydney. She was soloist for Elgar’s Sea Pictures, alto soloist for Handel’s Messiah, has been a returning soloist for Sydney University Grad Choir.

Keara has been involved in numerous development productions, workshops and premiers, including Gavin Lockley and Colleen McCullough’s Morgan’s Run, and George Palmer’s Cloudstreet.
