She began her flute studies in the Uk, aged 10 and has not stopped since! Lisa studied with Clare Southworth at Chethams School of Music, then with Richard Davis for BMus at the Royal Northern College of Music, and postgraduate with Robert Winn in Weimar, Germany.

Lisa performed with many symphony and chamber orchestras across the UK including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, London Philharmonic and English National Opera. She was a founder member of Kammer Ensemble, performing  contemporary chamber music and promoting the works of Australian composers. Lisa was a guest artist with the Australia Ensemble and Omega ensemble, and has recorded extensively with the Sydney Session orchestra. Since relocating to Australia in 2005, Lisa has performed as Guest Principal Flute with ACO, AWO, SSO, ASO and TSO.

Fun fact; in Baz Luhrmann’s film Australia, Lisa performed the flute solo when Nicole and Hugh kiss in the rain…
