Marney McQueen

Marney McQueen is one of Australia’s most versatile performers, celebrated across musical theatre, comedy, cabaret, television and film. A graduate of NIDA’s Bachelor of Dramatic Art, she has built a career defined by fearless character work, sharp comic timing, and powerhouse vocals.

Most recently, Marney won widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Celine Dion in the Australian premiere of Titanique, a career-defining turn blending vocal brilliance with comic flair. She also appeared at Belvoir in Into The Woods, playing Stepmother and Cinderella’s Mother. Her musical theatre credits include Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Marion), Hairspray (Velma Von Tussle), Dream Lover: The Bobby Darin Musical (Nina) and The Dismissal (Sir John Kerr).

On screen, Marney is known for roles in Home and Away, Neighbours, and The Wedge, alongside the filmsThe Mule and Matching Jack. As her cabaret creation Rosa Waxoffski, she toured from Melbourne to Edinburgh, London and New York, and hosted the Sydney Theatre Awards for three consecutive years.
