Najmiddin Mavlyanov

The tenor Najmiddin Mavlyanov was born in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). From 1998 until 2002 he studied singing in his home town and later at the consrvatory of Tashkent, that he finished in 2006. He was a soloist at the opera of Tashkent. Since 2010 he is a member of the Stanislavsky und Nemirovitsch-Danchenko Theatre Moscow, where he made his debut as Don Alvaro (La forza del destino) followed by Alfredo (La Traviata), Don José (Carmen), Hoffmann (Les contes d’Hoffmann), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Werther, Rossillon (The Merry Widow), Lenski (Eugene Onegin), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Radames (Aida), Giasone (Medea), Andrei (Khovanshchina), Hermann (The Queen of Spades), Steva (Jenufa).

In 2013 Najmiddin Mavlyanov sang Cavaradossi at the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp and Ghent. In 2014/15 he sang, Cavaradossi, Radames und Gustavo (Un Ballo in Maschera) in Dusseldorf, Manrico (Il Trovatore) and Pinkerton at the Mariinsky Theatre St. Petersburg, Alfredo at the am Bolshoi Theatre Moscow.

2015/16 Cavaradossi in Helsinki. Rodolfo (La Bohème) in Antwerp and Ghent, his debut as Cavaradossi at the  Royal Opera House in  London, Cavaradossi in Dusseldorf, Khovanshchina, Il Trovatore and Tosca (all three under the direction of Valery Gergiev) and Verdi Requiem (under the direction of James Conlon) at the Mariinsky Theatre, Roméo (Roméo et Juliette) in Tel Aviv, (La Traviata), Vaudemont (Iolanta) and Faust (La damnation de Faust) at the Bolshoi Theatre.

2016/17 Manrico at the Royal Opera House in London, La damnation de Faust at the Bolshoi Theatre, Khovanshchina, Don Carlo and Maurizio (Adriana Lecouvreur) at the Mariinsky Theatre, Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra) in Antwerp, Ghent and Luxembourg, Radames and Don Carlo in Dusseldorf, Pinkerton in Tel Aviv.

2017/18 Radames in Hong Kong, Don Carlo and Vaudemont at the Bolshoi Theatre, Iolanta in Rome and Hamburg, Simon Boccanegra, Adriana Lecouvreur, Don Carlo and Carmen at the Mariinsky Theatre, Cavaradossi and Radames in Dusseldorf, Cavaradossi at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Radames at the New National Theatre Tokyo, Cavaradossi at the Metropolitan Opera New York, Don José in Tel Aviv, Iolanta, Don José and Hermann in Vladivostok.

2018/19 Iolanta with Valery Gergiev in Munich, Berlin, Lucerne and Budapest, Pierre Bezukhov in War and Peace in Moscow, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana and Cavaradossi in Dusseldorf, Don José, Hermann in The Queen of Spades, Iolanta and Don Carlo at the Bolshoi Theatre, Cavaradossi in Nanjing, Gabriele Adorno with Valery Gergiev in Rimini, Macduff, Manrico, Don Carlo, Canio in Pagliacci, Maurizio, Pinkerton, Andrey Khovansky and Hermann at the Mariinsky Theatre, Cavaradossi in Tel Aviv, Cavaradossi in Budapest, Macduff in Antwerp, Radames in Vladivostok.

2019/20 Radames in Geneva, Cavaradossi in Dusseldorf, Iolanta and Sadko at the Bolshoi Theatre, Macduff in Luxembourg, Radames, Manrico and Sadko at the Mariinsky Theatre.

2020/21 Cavaradossi in Dresden, Turiddu, Radames, Iolanta and Hermann at the Mariinsky Theatre, Don José, Gustavo, Sadko and Don Carlo at the Bolshoi Theatre.
