Rachel Cole

Rachel Cole is a Sydney-based performer and presenter whose recent theatre credits include understudying Sarah Brightman as Norma Desmond for Opera Australia/GWB’s Asian tour of Sunset Boulevard. She previously understudied in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical and has worked with Tim Minchin on both Groundhog Day and the original Australian tour of Matilda the Musical with the Royal Shakespeare Company, where she played the Acrobat and covered Miss Honey, Mrs Wormwood and Mrs Phelps.

Her other credits include La Cage Aux Folles; Muriel’s Wedding; Billy Elliot; Evita; Wicked; Chess and Promises, Promises. For Opera Australia she has also appeared in La Bohème; The Love of the Nightingale; Die tote Stadt; The Marriage of Figaro and La forza del destino. Rachel trained at ED5 International and studied Psychology at the University of Sydney, later undertaking postgraduate study in Economics.

Outside of performing, Rachel is the Money and Finance Presenter on Channel 7’s primetime lifestyle show Healthy, Wealthy & Wise. She works full time as an investment adviser, is a Qualified Property Investment Advisor and shares practical financial education with a large online audience at @GetRichWithRach.
