Rena Moore

Rena has recently completed her Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Julian Smiles and Georg Pedersen. She was winner of Balmain Sinfonia’s 2025 Concerto Competition as well as Sydney Concert Orchestra’s 2024 Concerto Competition, allowing her to perform as a soloist with both orchestras last year.

Rena has performed widely in Sydney and abroad; highlights include playing in Kuhmo’s 54^th Chamber Music Festival (Finland) as a scholarship holder, and recording in the Like A Version studio for singer Carla Wehbe on triple j. As a keen orchestral player, she has held principal positions within Sydney Conservatorium orchestras and has also enjoyed working with many orchestras such as the Sydney Youth Orchestras, Australian Youth Orchestra, Willoughby Symphony, Ensemble Apex, The Orchestra Project and Caesura Ensemble.
