Awarded with the prestigious “Premios Líricos Campoamor 2015” and the “Codalario” prize as best new artist 2015, among others, Ruth Iniesta debuted in 2012 at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid.

Since then, she is invited regularly to opera houses and festivals such as the Teatro Real in Madrid, Gran Teatre del Liceuin Barcelona, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Staatskapelle Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin, Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid, together with artists as Juanjo Mena, Pablo Heras-Casado, Michele Mariotti, Victor Pablo Pérez, Kevin Farrel, Emilio Sagi, Willy Decker, Damiano Micheletto and Rosetta Cucchi.

Ruth Iniesta’s operatic and Zarzuela repertoire includes: L’elisir d’amore, Don Pasquale, Werther, Falstaff, La vida breve, Il viaggio a Reims, Les pêcheurs de perles, La donna del lago, La del manojo de rosas, Doña Francisquita, Luna del miel en El Cairo, El diablo en el poder, El huésped del sevillano.

Among recent engagements: Lucia di Lammermoor and La Bohème (Musetta) in Bologna, Il viaggio a Reims (Madama Cortese) in Barcelona (Liceu), Medea (Glauce) in Wexford, Le nozze di Figaro (Susanna) in Palma de Mallorca, I Puritani at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and at the Teatro Verdi of Trieste, Il viaggio a Reims (Corinna) at the Musikverein in Wien, Turandot, Carmen and Il Barbiere di Siviglia at Arena in Verona, Rigoletto (Gilda) at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna conducted by Michele Mariotti, Rigoletto (Gilda) at the Teatro Regio in Torino, Don Pasquale at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Falstaff (Nannetta) at the Teatro Real; among her future engagements: Carmen at the Teatro Verdi of Trieste and again at the Arena di Verona, Lucia di Lammermoor in Palma de Mallorca, La Traviata in Palermo, Rigoletto at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Die Zuberflöte in Turin and Il viaggio a Reims (Madama Cortese) at the Palau de les arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.
