A multidisciplinary artist living and creating on the Mornington Peninsula, Scout graduated with a BFA from the VCA, where they were the recipient of the Orloff Family Charitable Trust Scholarship, Cassidy Bequest Scholarship, Mabel Kent Scholarship, Ron Freedman Memorial Award, Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation Music Theatre Award. Theatre credits include CHESS (Storeyboard Entertainment), Moulin Rouge! (Global Creatures), Guys & Dolls(Antipodes Theatre Company) and RENT (LPD Productions). A passionate songwriter and musician, Scout forms the duo SAMSCOUT alongside their partner Sam Richardson. Written on a roadtrip along Australia’s east coast, their debut album Painted Lines releases in November 2026. Singles over the hill and warm night received airplay across triple j Unearthed, PBS FM, Inner FM and featured on Apple Music’s New in Pop playlist. SAMSCOUT are often producing welcoming experiences for people to enjoy live music, including their first festival, JOY FEST!. Scout is excited to return to the Regent Theatre and collaborate with a wonderful group of artists to tell this story.
