Sophia Bae

Originally from Christchurch, Sophia is a proud Kiwi artist with South Korean Heritage. She trained at Southern Ballet Theatre from 2008-2019, training Full Time with the Company from the Age of 15. In 2020, she moved to Melbourne on a full scholarship to train at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, graduating from the full-time program in 2021. Since completing her studies, Sophia has been a feature of the Melbourne Corporate Scene with highlights including the AFL Grand Final, Victorian Dance Festival, and Tones and I’s “Won’t Sleep” Music Video. Sophia is thrilled to be making her Musical Theatre debut in Anastasia, and grateful to share the stage with such a talented and passionate team.
