Tom Sharah

Tom won the prestigious Australian Cabaret Showcase before coming to wider national attention as a finalist on Channel Ten’s I Will Survive. He subsequently toured his one-man shows Que Sera Sharah, It’s Raining Me and That 90’s Show to sell-out seasons around Australia and earned a Sydney Theatre Award nomination for Best Cabaret Performer.

Tom most recently toured Australia and Asia in Sunset Boulevard (Opera Australia/GWB). His other musical theatre credits include 9 to 5 (Crossroads Live), The Wedding Singer (David Venn Enterprises), American Psycho (BB Arts), Shrek (GFO), Muriel’s Wedding (Global Creatures/STC), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Michael Cassel Group), Only Heaven Knows (Luckiest Productions) and The Drowsy Chaperone (Squabbalogic) for which he received a Glugs Award for his performance as Aldolpho. Tom has appeared for Neglected Musicals in The Pajama Game, Promises Promises, If/Then, Anyone Can Whistle, Nick & Nora and Seesaw. He also starred opposite Marcia Hines in the Australian tour of Velvet Rewired and has travelled internationally performing in concert with Boys in the Band.
