Viktor Antipenko

Russian-American tenor known for dramatic roles. Studied at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory and the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. To date, has performed with opera theaters including The Metropolitan Opera, New National Theatre Tokyo, Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, Bolshoi Theatre, Seattle Opera and Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck, in roles including the title role in Lohengrin, Don Jose in Carmen, Enzo Grimaldo in La Gioconda, Samson in Samson and Dalila, Gabriele Adorno in Simon Boccanegra and Erik in Der fliegende Holländer, among others.

Recent performances include Manrico in Il Trovatore and Radames in Aida with the Israeli Opera, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly with the Metropolitan Opera, Don Jose in Carmen with Kansas City Opera and Arizona Opera and Siegmund in Die Walküre with Atlanta Opera.
