Leigh Sachwitz

As an internationally accomplished artist, designer, architect, curator and creative director of flora&faunavisions, Leigh Sachwitz has carved a reputation through her multi-disciplinary, cross-platform productions in visual design both culturally and commercially. With work spanning across immersive experiences, exhibitions, music stages, theatre and opera performances, fashion shows and art installations, Leigh has characterised a unique style through design in space and time.

Each project is approached as a white canvas which fuses light, language, and colour with music, technology and art.

Since moving to Berlin in the early 1990s, Leigh quickly became part of moulding an alternative artistic scene in the city, working as both a designer and VJ in many of Berlin’s most famous music and cultural venues. It is this experience that has allowed Leigh to merge her expertise of architectural design with stage performance, seamlessly transforming spaces into luminous moments and immersing the viewer into an experience where analogue and digital worlds combine. Leigh maintains an awareness of the developments in technology, adapting her work from film photography to the use of projection mapping, 3D sculptures and data responsive work and now branching out into large-scale intelligent spaces.
